Say Thanks
There are many ways to acknowledge the support of your employer and thank them for their efforts.
First, and most important of all, is to physically say thank you and acknowledge them on a personal level. This could be followed up with a more formal letter to HR or a line manager. These gestures of apprectaion go a long way to ensure a positive working relationship between you, your employer, and the NZCF.

Going That Extra Mile
For larger gestures DESC and your Regional Liason Officers can offer unique experiences for supportive employers through Operation Mōhiohio and the DESC recognition awards.
Operation Mōhiohio gives employers the chance to experience defence people in action and they can be invited to one of these events through your unit or through the registration form on this website.
