Although your time in uniform has come to a close, DESC continues to work with you to ensure success in your new civilian career. You have developed strong leadership skills within the NZDF, and have gained valuable experiences and qualifications that are highly desirable in the civilian workplace. We help your new employer understand these skills and assist them in getting the most out of you.
We encourage you to engage in good faith with your employer, especially if you're considering continuing service as a reservist. We also encourage you to nominate your new employer for a recognition award to thank them for the support if they have given you.
